Graston Therapy
What Is It?
Also known as scraping therapy, Graston therapy is a type of manual therapy that uses instrument assisted tools to assist with decreasing fascial and muscular tension and increasing range of motion.
Dr. LA will apply pressure and massage the problematic region while performing Graston therapy. The tools are hand-held and made of stainless steel and are made to find and remove areas of restricted soft tissue, such as adhesions, which can cause pain, and limited mobility.
Tendonitis, sprains, strains, and muscular spasms are just a few of the musculoskeletal problems that are frequently treated with Graston therapy.
